So we are nearly ready to kick off our trans Africa trip, and looking to figure out how to get an Angolan tourist visa. We won't be ready to cross into Angola for at least a year, maybe 18 months. We are US citizens and can stop at the embassy here in The States, but it seems they give 90 days to use a visa, maximum. Has anyone here obtained an Angolan tourist visa from outside their country of residence, especially in Kenya, Tanzania, or Zambia? Does anyone know of someone that has done this, and can you bring them and I into contact? It sounds like for the rest of our trip visas are obtainable en route, either at embassies or the border itself. Angola/DRC is the only tough spot. Thanks for any help or info.
