We zijn op stoom. Met de vlam in de pijp zijn we inmiddels net in Swaziland aangekomen, klein landje van koning Mswati de Derde met z’n 13 vrouwen en meer dan 200 nakomelingen.
Koeien en geiten op de weg, apen die zo de suiker van je tafel graaien, hier en daar een kakkerlak, we hebben er weer wat nieuwe ontmoetingen…

After a brief layover in Swaziland, we made our way to the Northern Drakensberg (a.k.a. the Dragon Mountains in Afrikaans and ‘Barrier of Spears’ in Zulu) in South Africa. With our base at the beautiful Amphitheatre Backpackers near Bergville, we set off to explore the nearby natural wonders.
