Addition of information on commercial charter flight from Luanda to Paris on Tuesday 28 April. ('Return to the UK' page)

Return to the UK
Although all scheduled international flights to and from Angola were suspended on 20 March, limited charter flight options to connect to the UK continue to become available on an ad-hoc basis (see Flights section below).
If you live in the UK and are currently visiting Angola you’re strongly advised to return now by commercial means. Don’t run the risk of getting stranded.
UK Government special charter flights will only operate for priority countries where commercial flights are not possible. You should not assume that these flights will become available in countries where commercial flights are operating.
See more information and advice about staying where you are if you cannot return to the UK.

Coronavirus
Cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Angola. The Angolan authorities have introduced a number of measures to limit the spread of the virus.
The Angolan Government suspended international flights in and out of the country on 20 March and introduced a state of emergency on 27 March that has been extended until at least 25 April. This activated a series of measures to limit the spread of the virus, including significant restrictions on movement throughout the country. All citizens have been asked to remain at home. Most shops, other than those selling food or medicine, are currently closed. The Angolan police are robustly enforcing these rules. Public transport is operating at a reduced level and there are no internal flights.
If you are currently in Angola, you should follow the advice of the local authorities. For information on how to return to the UK from Angola, see Return to the UK.

All scheduled international flights to and from Angola were suspended from 20 March until further notice.

All returning residents who have been to China, South Korea, Iran, France, Spain, Portugal or Italy will be placed in obligatory quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
