Latest update: Safety and Security section (Political situation) – on 25 March 2017, the security forces used force to disperse opposition rallies and marches, more rallies could take place in Minsk and other large towns between now and 9 May 2017; you should maintain a high level of security awareness, particularly in public places and avoid large crowds and demonstrations; Entry requirements (visas) – if you intend to work as a journalist make sure you receive accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that you’re clearly identifiable at all times
