I just purchased a 1989 1017A former US Navy truck that came out of the Middle East. I am in Reno, NV and would like to find a pair of higher speed axles (front and rear) as I have found the current axles are only capable of 50-60 Kmph. I have heard that the fire truck variants of this era 1017A were able to attain 80-90 Kmph. Any ideas where to get complete axles or internal parts to swap out the gearing? Thanks
