The San Blas Ferry is due to restart its Panama – Colombia vehicle service on the 4th of August 2015.

The San Blas ferry had previously sailed in 2014, due to Ferry Xpress launching their service San Blas was not able to compete.

Today with no Ferry Xpress Fritz the owner of the San Blas Ferry plans on having two sailing each month crossing the Darien Gap.

The ferry will be taking passengers with their vehicles (Bicycles, Motorbikes , Cars, 4x4's, Motorhomes & trucks) and pets.

The Ferry will be able to take up to 35 cars and 50 bikes on board with a weight limit if 240 tons. There is no height restriction, i.e if the vehicle can drive on the road then it can also board the ferry.

The Ferry will also be the only service to allow passengers together with their vehicle and pets to travel together.

The Ferry will only take 24-28 hours to sail in either direction.

The cost of the service is detailed below, Members of the Overland Sphere FB Group can receive up to a 30% discount on bookings.
