Due to significant protests affecting travel to and from the island of Chiloé, we advise Australians to take extra caution and follow advice of local authorities in the region of Los Lagos. Protestors have cut off access to and from the island and transport services have been disrupted. The level of the advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise normal safety precautions in Chile.
