Latest update: Summary & Terrorism section – the FCO advise against all travel to the Old City of Jerusalem between 6pm and 6am from Monday 24 July to Thursday 27 July, and from 6pm Thursday 27 July until 6am Saturday 29 July; three Palestinians have been killed during protests and demonstrations in Jerusalem and the West Bank; there have been calls for further protests over the coming days; two Israeli police officers were fatally shot in a terrorist attack at Haram al Sharif/Temple Mount on 14 July; following this the site was closed for two days and reopened with additional security measures; you should avoid any demonstrations and follow instructions of the local authorities
