On 14 January the World Health Organization declared Liberia as Ebola-free, however recent deaths from the virus in Sierra Leone and Guinea (also declared Ebola-free) highlights the potential for flare-ups of the virus in the Ebola-affected countries. We urge you to continue to take precautions against contracting Ebola (see Health). The level of the advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise a high degree of caution in Liberia. Higher levels apply in some parts of the country.
