On Sunday 26 June, a grenade explosion killed two people and injured at least 50 others during celebrations marking Independence Day at a stadium in the capital Antananarivo. The level of our advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise a high degree of caution in Madagascar. Higher levels apply in some parts of the country.
