There have been no reported new cases of Zika virus in the past two months in the Republic of the Marshall Islands and it has been removed from the Department of Health's list of countries experiencing Zika transmission; however we continue to advise all travellers to protect themselves from mosquito bites (see Health). The level of advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise normal safety precautions in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
