Large protests in Oaxaca have resulted in the death and injury of protestors and police. Further protests are expected in the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero and Michoacán and Mexico City. We advise you to avoid all public gatherings and demonstrations due to the possibility that they could turn violent. Demonstrators may block roads, highways and access to airports.
