The Moroccan authorities have warned of an increased threat linked to the number of Moroccans sympathetic or belonging to international terrorist organisations operating in Syria and Iraq. Recent terrorist attacks in Egypt and Tunisia are a further indication of the heightened risk of terrorism in the region. The level of advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise a high degree of caution in Morocco.
