There have been no reported new cases of Zika virus in the past two months in New Caledonia and it has been removed from the Australian Government’s list of countries experiencing Zika transmission. We continue to advise all travellers to protect themselves from mosquito bites (see Health).The level of advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise normal safety precautions in New Caledonia.
