The DPRK conducted a long-range rocket launch on 7 February 2016, following its underground nuclear test in January 2016, further aggravating the already tense situation on the Peninsula. The level of the advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise normal safety precautions in the Republic of Korea (ROK).
