On 15 January, Sierra Leone health officials confirmed a new death from the Ebola virus. The World Health Organization, which had previously declared Sierra Leone Ebola free, has stressed the potential for flare-ups of the virus in Ebola-affected countries. The level of this advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise a high degree of caution.
