Latest update: Summary - the island was severely affected by the passage of Hurricane Irma on 6 September 2017. Many buildings have been destroyed and there have been reports of flooding. The airport and seaport are not accessible for the moment. If you’re on the island you should follow the advice of the local authorities. The authorities in the French part of the island will transmit information on local radio 91.7FM in English, French and Creole.
