The transmission of the mosquito-borne Zika virus in Trinidad and Tobago has been upgraded from sporadic to 'ongoing'. We continue to advise all travellers to protect themselves from mosquito bites (see Health). The overall level of the advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise a high degree of caution in Trinidad and Tobago.
