Zambian presidential and national elections are scheduled for 11 August 2016, with associated political rallies likely throughout the country. These rallies, or political protests, may turn violent and should be avoided. The level of the advice has not changed. We continue to advise Australians to exercise normal safety precautions in Zambia.
